Joe Szafarowicz

Joe Szafarowicz has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles.

From 2023 to the present, they have been working as a Senior Software Engineer at Siris Medical.

In 2022, Joe founded Badger Hub, an independent game studio, where they served as the Founder and Creative Director. Joe oversaw the development of the studio's first game, "Me, My Mech and I."

Joe also held roles at ImprovBoston, serving as the Front Of House Manager and Technical Director from 2018 to 2020.

Additionally, Joe worked at Launch Academy, Inc in 2019 as an Experience Engineer, mentoring students in web application development. Joe also served as an Apprentice Full-Stack Developer, gaining knowledge in various web technologies.

Outside of the tech and entertainment industries, Joe has government experience. From 2013 to 2019, they were a Selectman for the Town of Charlton, where they played a crucial role in policy development, contract negotiation, and problem-solving for residents. Joe also worked as a Civil Engineer for the Town of Arlington, managing construction projects and overseeing the street opening permit system.

Further, Joe gained political experience as the Chief of Staff to Representative Kate Campanale in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts from 2015 to 2016.
