Federico Velasquez Ramirez

Federico Velasquez Ramirez has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Federico started their career as a Sales Assistant at Morgan Stanley Global Wealth Management Group from June 2003 to September 2004. Federico then joined PwC as an Assurance Associate in the Financial Services, Banking & Capital Markets division from September 2006 to March 2009. After that, they had a brief role at PwC in the Financial Services division from January 2006 to April 2006.

Since 2009, Federico has been working at SiriusPoint, where they have held multiple roles. Federico started as a Manager of Financial Analysis & Control and then progressed to become an AVP & Risk Manager, supporting the Group Chief Risk Officer and the Head of Internal Capital Modeling. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President, Senior Risk Manager, where they have taken on broad responsibilities in Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), including risk reporting, governance, oversight, assessment of risk capital, and solvency assessments. Federico is also the Risk Manager responsible for the U.S. at SiriusPoint.

Federico Velasquez Ramirez pursued their education in a chronological manner. In 1999, they enrolled at Universidad EAFIT and completed their Bachelor of Business Administration - BBA degree from 1999 to 2002. Later, in 2005, they attended Northeastern University and attained a dual degree of Master of Business Administration and Master of Science in Accounting, which they completed in 2006. In 2013, Federico pursued further education at NYU Stern School of Business, where they earned a Master of Science of Risk Management degree in 2014.
