Simon Hawkins

Simon Hawkins is the current Company Secretary & Non-Executive Director at Sirius Petroleum Plc. Simon has also served as a Non Executive Director and Company Secretary at Sirius Petroleum plc from November 2015 to November 2016. Prior to that, they were the Group Head of Investor Relations at Afren from February 2013 to July 2015. Simon Hawkins has also worked as a Senior Research Analyst, Oil & Gas at N+1 Singer from January 2012 to February 2013. Additionally, they have served as the Global Head of Energy Equity Research at MF Global from January 2011 to December 2011 and as the Head of Oil & Gas Research at Ambrian Partners from January 2010 to December 2010. Their other notable work experience includes ComRes, where they worked as the CFO and Board Member from July 2007 to June 2011, and Omni Investment Research, where they served as the Founder and Managing Director from January 2006 to December 2010.

After completing their undergraduate studies in economics, Simon Hawkins pursued a career in oil and gas accounting and financial management. Simon completed a postgraduate certificate in executive coaching from the University of Chester and is currently pursuing a postgraduate degree in international oil and gas accounting and financial management from the University of North Texas.
