Tariq Khader

Tariq Khader has a diverse work history spanning multiple industries. Tariq began their career as a Merchandiser and Junior Sales Rep at Constellation Wines NZ in 2006. Tariq then worked as a Tax Consultant and Senior Analyst in Transaction Services at PwC from 2008 to 2011. In 2012, they joined Essence as a Customer Analyst before taking on roles at Burton's Biscuit Company, including Commercial Finance Manager, Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis, and Corporate Strategy and Development Manager. Tariq then worked as an Interim Strategic Consultant at TOA.ST, an M&A Associate at AMCo, and as an Advisor at LCN Capital Partners, L.P. In 2016, they became a Senior Manager of Business Development Finance at Concordia International. From 2017 to the present, Tariq has worked at BizSpace Ltd, first as the Head of Strategic Finance and currently as the Finance Director. Tariq is set to join Sirius Real Estate as the Chief Investment Officer in 2023.

Tariq Khader obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (BCOM) degree with a major in Marketing & Economics from The University of Auckland, completing their studies in 2008. In the same year, they also completed a Graduate Diploma in Commerce with a specialization in Accounting from The University of Auckland. Additionally, Tariq Khader attained the certification of Chartered Accountant from Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand in 2010.
