Luis Javier Giusti

Luis Javier Giusti has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Luis Javier began their career as a Surf Instructor before moving on to work as a Sales Representative and PC Maintenance specialist at EDIN. Luis Javier then worked at the Pontificia Universidad Católica Argentina (UCA) where they developed software and maintained equipment for the Social Sciences Faculty. After that, they co-founded and worked in R&D for a start-up called Rabiosa, focusing on manufacturing and selling longboard skates. Luis Javier also worked as a Freelance Java and web developer, creating projects for medium-sized companies.

In 2016, Luis joined Kuehne + Nagel as a Fullstack Developer before being promoted to Frontend Developer and Frontend Lead. Luis Javier played a key role in revamping the company's UI/UX libraries and improving their frontend projects.

In 2019, they joined Navent as a Backend Developer, contributing to the development of the biggest Jobs and Real Estate classified portal in Latin America. Luis Javier'sresponsibilities included creating tools for job seekers and companies to find the best matches.

In 2021, Luis joined Ranker as a Software Developer, working on backend services that processed millions of votes per month. Luis Javier'srole also involved breaking down services into smaller ones and maintaining the company's websites.

Currently, Luis works at Sirius Software as a Technical Lead, where they have worked on backend development and technical leadership roles for various projects including Debbie, Odin's Eye, and KiOS. Luis Javier'smain focus is developing and improving existing code and promoting good practices.

Luis Javier Giusti studied Electric Engineering at the Pontificia Universidad Católica Argentina 'Santa María de los Buenos Aires' from 2009 to 2012. Prior to that, they pursued Computer Sciences Engineering at Universidad Austral, Buenos Aires from 2002 to 2006. Luis Javier completed their Bilingual Bachelor specialized in natural sciences at Del Viso Day School and also gained a certification as a PC Manager Junior from IBM in 1996.
