Qian Sun

Qian Sun is a highly experienced scientist currently working as a Senior Scientist at AstraZeneca since December 2021, focusing on in vitro resistant models for antibody drug conjugation (ADC), discovering new payloads for ADC, and developing combination treatments to overcome resistance. Prior experience includes roles as Scientist II and Scientist I at Sirnaomics, Inc., where Qian evaluated targeted delivery systems and conducted high-throughput drug screenings for cancer therapies. Qian also held a postdoctoral fellowship at the National Institutes of Health, researching glioblastoma resistance mechanisms, and worked as a Research Assistant at the Center for Translational Biomedical Research at UNCG. Qian's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Nutrition Sciences from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and a Master's Degree from the University at Buffalo, along with a Bachelor's Degree in Laboratory Medicine from Sichuan University.
