Tim Xia

Tim Xia is a Senior Software Engineer at Sirona Medical since June 2022, specializing in integrating machine learning into radiology workflows. Previously, Tim Xia held roles at The New York Times from November 2016 to 2022, contributing to the redesign of the Timespast Internal Search portal and new NYT Search UI features. Tim Xia also worked in R&D at The New York Times from September 2013 to November 2016, where foundational work on the TimesMachine project was done as the first full-time developer. Prior experience includes serving as an Associate Software Engineer at Fidelity Investments from July 2011 to August 2013, where contributions were made to a critical financial services application, along with training in the Leap program on advanced software development practices. Tim Xia began a career at Albeta Company as a Game Producer from June 2007 to January 2011, working on game publications across various web portals. Tim Xia earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2011.
