Chadd Barney

Chadd Barney is a Software Engineer at sirrus7 since June 2022, with prior experience at the University of Utah from November 2016 to May 2022. At the University, Chadd served as the Lead Network Automation Engineer, responsible for developing code and guiding the vision for network automation tools while supervising a team of automation engineers. As a Network Automation Specialist, Chadd collaborated on the enhancement of the network automation toolkit, designing and deploying new tools and user interfaces. Previously, as a Network Operator, responsibilities included interfacing with IT groups, managing trouble tickets, and maintaining network functionality. Chadd earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Utah in 2019.
