Gökmen Eris is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in IT strategy, governance, and digital transformation. Currently serving as Advisor to the CIO and IT Strategy & Governance Manager at Şişecam since February 2016, Gökmen leads the Global IT Centre of Excellence and has been pivotal in executing IT governance and digital strategy initiatives. Former roles at Şişecam include Head of IT Process & Quality Audit and Digitalization & Innovation Group Leader, managing significant teams to drive digital transformation aligned with business strategies. Academic contributions as a guest lecturer in Digital Transformation and Industry 4.0 at Bahcesehir University complement a robust career that includes key IT management positions at Akbank and Yapı Kredi, where Gökmen implemented best practices and significantly improved system availability. Gökmen holds a Master’s Degree in Strategic Marketing and Brand Management from Bahcesehir University and has completed various training programs to enhance professional expertise.
