Glenn Christiansen has over 30 years of experience in health, safety, and sustainability roles in multiple construction companies. Glenn is currently the Head of Health & Safety UK Construction and Group Civils at John Sisk & Son Ltd, where they focus on developing safety culture and achieving a vision of zero accidents and incidents. Prior to this, they served as the Safety, Health, Compliance and Business Assurance Director at Eiffage Kier Ferrovial BAM, leading the health and safety efforts for the C23 section of the Phase One High Speed 2 railway. Glenn also held various leadership positions at Carillion Construction Services, including Health, Safety and Sustainability Director, Head of Health, Safety and Sustainability, and Senior Health, Safety and Sustainability Manager. Glenn started their career as a Civil/Safety Engineer at Vauxhall Motors Limited, where they were responsible for planning, managing, and monitoring construction works. Glenn has actively contributed to the industry through speaking engagements, leadership roles, and involvement in regulatory revisions such as the CDM Regulations.

Glenn Christiansen obtained a BSC Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health from the British Safety Council starting in 2008. In 2014, they earned a Certificate in Environmental Management from the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment. Additionally, in 2008 and 2009, they completed Line Management training at the Institute of Leadership and Management. Glenn also holds a certification called DipOSH from the BSC.
