Marcus Carne

Marcus Carne has extensive work experience in the construction industry. Marcus is currently the Managing Director - Regional Building at John Sisk & Son Ltd since July 2021. Previously, in 2021, they worked as a Director at the same company. Before joining John Sisk & Son Ltd, Marcus served as the Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer at Keating Construction from 2019 to 2020. Marcus also held the role of Commercial Assurance Director at John Sisk & Son Ltd from 2018 to 2019. Prior to that, Marcus worked at Laing O'Rourke where they held various positions including Commercial Director - Infrastructure Capital Projects, Commercial Director, Head of Commercial for different regions, Commercial Executive Assistant, Commercial Manager, and Quantity Surveyor. Marcus began their career as a Quantity Surveyor at Loftus Civil Engineering in 1998.

Marcus Carne attended Limerick Institute of Technology from 1996 to 2000, where they earned a B.Sc in Construction Economics.
