Richard Butler

Richard Butler has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Richard is currently the Head of Occupational Health and Wellbeing at John Sisk & Son Ltd, where they are responsible for designing and implementing health and wellbeing programs across multiple countries. Prior to this, Richard worked at Bord Gáis Energy as an Occupational Health/Wellbeing Specialist, focusing on mental health and designing a mental health peer support program. Richard also has experience in nutrition and health coaching, as well as in health and safety roles at Rehab Group and HR roles at Deloitte and UPS Ireland Ltd. Additionally, Richard worked as an English teacher in South Korea.

Richard Butler completed their education in the following order:

1. From 1996 to 2000, they obtained a BBS Business Studies degree with a specialization in HR from Dublin City University.

2. Between 2007 and 2009, they pursued a Postgraduate Diploma in Health and Safety at Work with a focus on Occupational Health and Safety at the same institution.

3. In 2016 and 2017, Richard acquired ITEC and BTEC certification in Nutrition and Health Coaching from the Irish Institute of Nutrition and Health.

4. Most recently, from 2019 to 2021, they obtained an MSc in Occupational Health from University College Cork.
