Ayaan Gulaid

Ayaan Gulaid serves as the Assistant Transformation Project Manager and Strategy and Policy Officer at the London Borough of Tower Hamlets, contributing to effective strategies and priority outcomes for local residents. Gulaid is also a Non-Executive Director at Tower Hamlets GP Care Group, shaping the future of local GP services, and a Trustee of Sister Circle, a community health charity focusing on disadvantaged women. Additional roles include Advisory Board Member for Healthwatch Tower Hamlets, Development Officer for Tower Hamlets Council for Voluntary Service, and Chair of the TH Somali Working Group. Previous experience includes working as a Parliamentary Caseworker and Assistant in the House of Commons, along with leadership roles in education development with UNICEF and training coordination in drug addiction support.
