Maureen McGinness

Maureen McGinness has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Maureen is currently working as the Regional Chief Operating Officer at Sisters of Mercy of the Americas, where they provide leadership in the areas of Health & Wellness and Real Estate & Operations. Prior to this, they served as the Community Operating Officer at Sisters of Mercy Mid Atlantic Community.

Before joining the Sisters of Mercy organizations, Maureen McGinness worked at The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania as the Director of Finance and Operations for over 12 years. Maureen also held the position of Director of Financial Reporting at West Chester University and worked as an Instructor and Controller at Albright College.

Early in their career, they gained valuable experience at KPMG as an Audit Supervising Senior and at Coopers & Lybrand as a Senior Associate. Overall, Maureen McGinness brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in finance, operations, and leadership to their roles.

Maureen McGinness earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting from Penn State University, where they studied from 1987 to 1991. Later, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from Villanova University, completing their studies from 2008 to 2011. Maureen McGinness is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certified by The State of New York.
