Ty Barnes

Ty Barnes has a diverse work experience, with roles in various organizations. Their most recent position was as the Institute Office of Association, Executive Director at Sisters of Mercy of the Americas, starting in July 2020. Prior to that, they worked as the Director of Association, South Central-West Midwest from December 2013 to June 2020. Ty also served as the Mercy Association Outreach Coordinator from March 2011 to December 2013.

Before joining Sisters of Mercy of the Americas, Ty worked at Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools from October 2009 to June 2011. Earlier in their career, they held the position of Meeting Planner at Columbia MedCom Group from August 2004 to December 2008.

Ty Barnes has a Bachelor of Arts - BA degree in Communication and Professional Writing from Southern New Hampshire University. Additionally, in September 2013, Ty obtained a certification as an Apple Certified Pro in Final Cut Pro X.
