Gilles Bloch-Morhange has held various roles and positions throughout their work experience.

From 2021, they have been the Head of Strategy & Business Development at skyguide, where they are responsible for shaping the future of the Swiss Air Navigation Service Provider. Gilles advises the Executive Board on setting and driving the company's vision and strategy, as well as implementing corporate transformation initiatives.

Prior to their current role, Bloch-Morhange worked at SITA from 2016. There, they served as the VP Business & Portfolio Management, overseeing the Portfolio Strategy & Marketing and managing a revenue of over $650 million per year. Gilles also led SITA's Portfolio Marketing, enabling digital transformation for airlines and airports. Additionally, they spearheaded the worldwide network business transformation towards SD-WAN, SDN, IoT, 5G, and Platform business leveraging As-A-Service Open APIs Cloud based technology.

Before that, Bloch-Morhange held the position of Vice President Americas at SITA from 2012 to 2015, and prior to that, they were the Head of Latin America & Caribbeans in 2011.

Earlier in their career, they worked at SITA Network Communication Solutions as the Director of Strategic Partnerships from 2006 to 2010. Gilles also held the role of Senior Manager Radio Access Network at SITAONAIR from 1999 to 2005.

Bloch-Morhange's work experience also includes a role at Alcatel as the Deployment & Operations Manager from 1997 to 1999.

Gilles Bloch-Morhange has a Bachelor's Degree in Telecoms and IT from EFREI - Grande école du numérique, which they obtained from 1993 to 1997. Gilles also attended the French School in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil from 1986 to 1989 and the French School in Bangkok, Thailand from 1982 to 1985. In 2021, they attended IMD and studied Information Technology. In 2022, Gilles attended IMD again and studied both Organizational Leadership and Business Administration and Management, General.
