Pierre-Yves Benain

Pierre-Yves Benain has extensive work experience in the aviation industry. Pierre-Yves is currently employed at SITA as the Portfolio Director for Aircraft Data Management, where they develop digital solutions for aircraft data management and leverages technologies such as avionics, blockchain, IoT, and big data to create valuable insights. Prior to this role, they held positions as the Innovation Development Head for Aircraft Solutions and Program Director for the e-Aircraft Program at SITA, where they focused on developing e-Aircraft services and engaging with aircraft manufacturers, OEMs, and airlines. Pierre-Yves also worked as a Senior Manager in Business Development for Communication Services and as the Head of Portfolio for Integration Services at SITA. In addition to their work in the aviation industry, Pierre-Yves Benain has also served as a Professor for Corporate Strategies at the International Institute in Geneva, where they teach a module for the MBA program and participates in coaching seminars.

Pierre-Yves Benain earned a Master of Engineering degree in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from INSA Rennes in 1988. Pierre-Yves later pursued an Executive MBA in Management from the International Institute in Geneva, completing it in 2003.
