Vito Carrara

Vito Carrara is a seasoned mechanical design professional with extensive experience in the aerospace sector. Currently serving as the Mechanical Design Team Lead at SITAEL since January 2019, Vito specializes in satellite architecture within the Thermo-Mechanical and Propulsion Department. Prior to this role, Vito worked as an Electro Mechanical Design Engineer at SITAEL, focusing on the mechanical design of space units. Vito's earlier experience includes working as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Co.Me.A., where responsibilities involved the design of mechanical components and aeronautical equipment. Vito began the professional journey as a Graduate Engineering Trainee at ENAC, the Italian authority for civil aviation regulation. Vito holds both a Master's degree and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Politecnico di Bari, completed between 2013 and 2016.
