Joseph Rega is the current Digital Marketing Manager at Sitecore. Joseph has previously worked as an Sr. SEO Analyst at Hedgehog from March 2017 to July 2020, and as an SEO & Social Media Strategist (Manager) at Path Interactive from September 2013 to March 2017.

At Hedgehog, Joseph was responsible for growing the digital marketing business, improving clients traffic and conversions and keeping up to date on the latest search & Sitecore trends. Joseph improved traffic and revenue on eCommerce accounts via SEO & SEM channels, created, revised & implemented SEO, SEM and Social Media Strategies, and website optimizations such as site architecture, technical audits, load time, conversion rate optimization. Joseph also used Conductor Searchlight, Moz, SEMrush, Omniture for research and reporting, Radian6 & Nuvi for Social Media research, monitoring and reporting, ensured content marketing works with marketing strategy and improves audience development, drove traffic to informational and service pages for SaaS clients, performed backlink audits, created disavow files and submitted reconsideration requests when necessary, created a new department for SMB’s which lead to new revenue stream for the company, was in charge of managing Schema markup for all company client websites, increased product production and revenue on brands with no search presence, ran split tests (A/B testing) to improve user experience (ux) and user interface (ui), was the content manager: review and edited all content prior to publishing, managed five staff members by monitoring time tracking and making sure all deadlines are met, contributed to company blog on search related topics; held company meetings and trainings, lead routine client facing meetings to review account status, best practices and next steps, was responsible for reviewing staff performance time tracking and coaching on client communication, oversaw and delegated tasks to members of my team, reviewed resumes and conducted interviews for potential candidates.
