YOUR ROLE:

  • We are looking for a Senior Business Development Manager to join our team in Madrid. You will be responsible for researching, identifying, and reaching out to potential clients and partners to promote our hosting services and partner programs. This role involves pitching our services, negotiating deals, and maintaining relationships with key partners. The ideal candidate will be proactive, autonomous, and skilled in generating new business through direct & indirect channel strategies.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Market Research and Identification: Conduct market research to identify potential ICPs that could benefit from our hosting services;
  • Outreach and Engagement: Develop and implement effective outreach strategies to engage potential targets and present and pitch our hosting services and partner programs;
  • Negotiation and Acquisition: Negotiate terms and agreements with new partners and key clients to secure beneficial deals and allocate them into our existing offering;
  • Relationship Management: Maintain and nurture relationships with key acquired partners to ensure long-term collaboration, providing ongoing support to help them effectively use and recommend our hosting services;
  • Performance Measurement: Track and report on acquisition volumes and other key performance indicators (KPIs);
  • Proactive Business Development: Take ownership and operational leadership of both inbound and outbound business development activities;
  • Operational Leadership: Collaborate with internal teams of the SG Group including local and central Marketing, SEO, product, admin, legal & finance among acting as a positive influence and change agent.

OUR EXPECTATIONS:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably in the technology industry. Experience in the hosting industry is a plus;
  • Proven track record of successful negotiations and acquisitions;
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills;
  • Strong analytical and research abilities;
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work autonomously;
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment while still following internal procedures and guidelines of the SG Group;
  • Experience with CRMs, LinkedIn, email automations, and other Silicon Valley tech stack standards;
  • Consistent over-achievement and work ethic;
  • Ability to effectively communicate over the phone, chat, and email.
