Sara Vest

Sara Vest has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Sara currently holds the position of Director, Human Resources-HRBP at SiteOne Landscape Supply since October 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Division HR Business Partner at the same company from April 2020 to October 2022.

Before joining SiteOne Landscape Supply, Sara worked at Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. as the Human Resources Director-US Retail Sales & Channel Marketing from March 2017 to October 2019. Sara led a team of 2 HR professionals and was responsible for the growth and development of a 350+ remote sales and channel organization.

Sara also gained valuable experience at Newell Brands where they held various positions, including Director of Human Resources-Tools/Commercial Products/Distributor CDO. During their time there, they provided HR partnership and support for different departments. Sara played a key role in the integration of the Newell Tools business into the Stanley Black & Decker organization.

Sara started their career as a Recruiter/HR Representative at Alliance of Professionals & Consultants, Inc. from 2000 to 2002.

Throughout their career, Sara has showcased expertise in various HR functions such as talent acquisition, performance management, organizational optimization, and leadership development. Sara has also been involved in significant projects related to restructuring, organizational strategy, and location closures.

Sara Vest obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from North Carolina State University, where they studied from 1997 to 2000. Sara also holds additional certifications in "Ram Charan on Coaching High Potentials," "Jodi Glickman on Pitching Yourself," and "Talent Management," which they obtained in 2020 from LinkedIn.
