Ali Rouhi

Ali Rouhi has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Ali is currently the Director of Software Services at SiTime since July 2022. Previously, they worked at Quantenna Communications as the Director of Cloud Services SW from July 2014 to July 2022. Before that, they held the position of Chief Software Architect at Seyyer Inc from August 2011 to July 2014, where they designed and implemented a computer vision algorithm. Ali also worked at Quantenna Communications as a Software Manager from August 2008 to June 2011 and as a Senior Software Engineer from May 2006 to August 2008. Prior to that, they were a Senior Software Engineer at Hewlett Packard from November 2003 to May 2006, focusing on internationalization and bug fixing. Ali also had roles as a Senior Software Engineer at Persist Technologies from March 2002 to November 2003 and as a Software Team Lead at Zantaz from September 1998 to March 2002. Earlier in their career, Ali worked as a Java Developer at RandomNoise Inc. and as an Assistant Research Physicist and Postdoctoral Fellow at UC San Diego. Ali also served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Caltech, conducting research in vortex dynamics and teaching seminars on differential geometry.

Ali Rouhi received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Physics from Reed College, which they pursued from 1980 to 1984. Subsequently, they attended UC San Diego from 1984 to 1988, where they obtained a Ph.D. in Physics.
