Matt B.

Matt B. is an experienced marketing and e-commerce leader currently serving as VP - Marketing & E-Commerce Leader at SITKA Gear since August 2023. Prior to this role, Matt held various positions at Backcountry, including Marketing Director and Sr. Manager of Brand, PR, & Partnerships from September 2020 to August 2023. At Kuhl Clothing Company, Matt served as Director of Marketing, creating the company's first dedicated marketing department from January 2019 to July 2020. Additionally, Matt worked at Black Diamond Equipment as Retail Operations Director and Director of Marketing, focusing on brand marketing and retail expansion from April 2017 to January 2019. Earlier experience includes serving as Director of Retail Operations at Fjällräven North America, where responsibilities included store openings and market growth in the US and Canada, and management roles at Vail Resorts and Gorsuch Ltd. Matt holds a degree from the University of Wyoming, completed between 2004 and 2008.
