Marina Makrecka-Kuka

Marina Makrecka-Kuka has extensive work experience in the field of scientific research. Marina is currently working as a Senior Scientist at Sitryx since April 2022. Prior to that, they worked at the Latvian Institute of Organic Synthesis for a significant period of time. During their time there, they held various roles including Leading Researcher from November 2017 to April 2022, Researcher from June 2016 to October 2017, and Research Assistant from September 2009 to June 2016.

Marina Makrecka-Kuka pursued their education at Rīga Stradiņš University, where they earned a Master's degree in Pharmacy from 2006 to 2011. Following this, they continued their academic journey at the same university, completing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Pharmacy from 2011 to 2015.
