Mike Jahn

Mike Jahn is the current Director of Engineering at Sittercity. Mike has been in this position since March 2021. Prior to that, they were the Engineering Manager at Sittercity from February 2022 to March 2021.

Mike has also worked as a Lead Software Engineer at TopstepTrader from November 2019 to March 2021. In this role, they were responsible for wedding, engagement, portrait, and music photography.

From May 2014 to February 2015, Mike worked as a Software Engineer at Belly, where they maintained and built new features for the iOS app and worked on back end services to support the mobile apps.

From December 2012 to April 2014, Mike was a Software Engineer at Slalom Consulting. Mike was a founding member of the Mobile Competency group and the Blog group. The Mobile Competency group helped define best practices and standards for future mobile projects. The Blog group helped build and start Console.Blog(), an engineering blog written by slalom engineers.

Mike started their career as a Software Engineer at Groupon in January 2012. Mike worked there until December 2012.

Mike Jahn is an information systems major with a concentration in web application development from Illinois State University.

Mike Jahn reports to Zenobia Moochhala, CEO. Mike Jahn works with Ewa Chang - Director of Consumer Product, Erin Grilec-Yarnall - Chief People Officer, and Maddie Stuart - Director of Analytics. and Jeremy Ferguson - Engineering Manager reports to Mike Jahn.
