Ben Ahles

Ben Ahles possesses extensive experience in production engineering and fabrication, currently serving as the Production Engineer and Head Fabricator at SITU STUDIO since April 2011. At SITU STUDIO, Ben engineers and fabricates a diverse range of projects, collaborating with designers to develop project processes. Prior to this role, Ben worked as a Project Manager and Fabricator for artist Dennis Oppenheim from June 2008 to March 2011, where responsibilities included planning and fabricating sculptures as well as managing their installation in gallery and museum settings. Earlier experience includes a position as a Shop Monitor at Wesleyan University from September 2005 to May 2008, providing support in the wood shop and sculpture studio. Ben earned a Bachelor of Arts with high honors in Studio Art and English from Wesleyan University, graduating in 2008 with a focus in Sculpture.
