Business Development Team Manager at Situation Publishing

Chris Maddock began their work experience in 2007 at The Chequers Public House, starting as a kitchen worker and progressing to the role of barman. During their time there, they acquired skills in stock control, cash flow management, and training. In 2012, Chris worked as a Financial Administrator at Berry Recruitment, where they assisted with financial and general administration tasks. This role taught him about office environments, working to deadlines, and multitasking. In 2013, Chris joined Situation Publishing as a Sales Executive and later held positions including Account Executive, Account Manager, Senior Account Manager, and Senior Account Director. At Situation Publishing, they were responsible for client management, business development, team management, budgeting, and forecasting. Currently, Chris is tasked with building a Business Development team at Situation Publishing while also serving as a Senior Account Director.

Chris Maddock completed their A Levels in Geography, Business Studies, and Property Development at Chancellors Secondary School from 2008 to 2010. Subsequently, from 2009 to 2012, they pursued a degree in Property Development with Quantity Surveying at the University of Portsmouth. In addition to their formal education, Chris obtained certifications in Diversity and Equality Training from Napthens LLP in July 2019, and IPA Beer and Cellar Management from Cask Marque in June 2009.
