Amir Fazlollahi

Amir Fazlollahi has been an R&D engineering team leader and manager for the past 20 years. In his most recent roles he led the development of an extended reach distributed MIMO WLAN system, enhancement to a WLAN Ethernet backhaul, Multi-User MIMO for distributed MIMO and next generation DSL systems, and 10GBASE-T and automotive Ethernet systems.

As a director of Advanced R&D he helped Centillium communication deliver the most advanced ADSL (Annex-C) chipset of early 2000s in Japan (48Mbps/5Mbps DS/US). He has attended and contributed to ITU standards activities like G.fast where his contributions have resulted in multiple US patents. He has helped successfully develop a number of communication chipsets in multiple companies. Amir obtained his BS and MS degrees from Tehran University in Electronic Engineering and another MS and PhD degree from University of Connecticut in Electrical and Systems Engineering. Amir holds over 17 granted US patents and has numerous publications in reputable technical journals and conferences.
