Ming Ming Cheah has an extensive work experience in the field of hardware development and quality assurance. They started their career in Siemens Medical Instruments Pte Ltd in 1992, where they held roles as an Engineer and Assistant Manager in Quality Assurance. They then moved on to become a Manager in Quality Assurance at the same company. In 2004, Ming Ming Cheah joined Siemens Medical Instruments Pte. Ltd. as a Manager in Design for Manufacturing (R&D). They later became the Group Head in Hardware (R&D) in 2008. From 2015 to 2018, they worked at Sivantos Group, starting as a Global Head in Hardware (R&D), then becoming a Director in Hardware (R&D), and finally serving as the Vice President in Hardware Development (R&D). Currently, Ming Ming Cheah is the VP of R&D-Hardware Development at WSAudiology, a company formed through the merger of Sivantos and Widex, with a focus on using technology to help people with hearing loss.

Ming Ming Cheah earned a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) Hons. degree in Electronics Engineering from the National University of Singapore from 1996 to 2000. Prior to that, from 1995 to 1996, Ming Ming obtained a Diploma in Business Administration and Management from the Management Development Institute of Singapore. Additionally, Ming Ming holds a Diploma in Electronics Engineering from the French-Singapore Institute, which was completed from 1985 to 1987.
