Joe Slater

Joe Slater is an experienced professional in the startup and beverage industries. Currently serving as GM Startups at Creative HQ since November 2022, Joe manages startup support programmes aimed at fostering innovative tech talent in Wellington. In addition to this role, Joe acts as a Startup Coach for Startup Aotearoa. As Co-Founder and Brand Director of Six Barrel Soda since May 2012, Joe contributes to brand strategy and product development, and has also held positions as Managing Director of a low-waste drinks company and Co-Founder of Cameo Cafe Syrups. Other notable roles include Directorships at Nudes Drinks and The Chocolate Bar NZ. Joe's educational background includes studies at Victoria University of Wellington.
