Matthew Nowell

Matthew Nowell has extensive experience in systems engineering and operations management, currently serving as the Manager of SAN Operations at Six Flags since February 2008, where significant projects include migrating a 33 filer 7-Mode environment to 19 cDot 9.1 clusters. Prior to this role, Matthew worked as a Senior Systems Engineer implementing deduplication on Netapp FAS 3000 series and managing Data Ontap. Additional experience includes working as a Technical Consultant at Sirius Computer Solutions, where Matthew installed SQL Cluster servers and executed various Netapp hardware and software implementations, as well as serving as a Senior NT Administrator at Greyhound Lines, Inc., coordinating Active Directory redesigns. Matthew's career began at Buchanan Associates as a Consultant, automating server tasks and developing enterprise solutions. Matthew earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from Texas Christian University.
