Andrew Gomez has four years of work experience, beginning in 2014. Andrew worked as a General Support Technician at A&A Painting Inc. from 2014 to 2018. In 2018, they joined the Cyber Protection Brigade, where they held the roles of Battalion Analytic Support Officer, Team Analytic Support Officer, and Computer Network Defense Manager. In 2022, they joined SIXGEN as a Junior Offensive Cyber Operator and was promoted to Senior Offensive Cyber Operator. Additionally, they have been a Training and Exercise Support Officer for the United States Army Reserve since 2022.

Andrew Gomez obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of North Georgia between 2014 and 2018. Andrew then obtained certifications from Virtual Hacking Labs, Cisco, and Splunk. In 2019, they obtained the Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) certification from Offensive Security. In 2020, they obtained the Offensive Security Wireless Professional (OSWP) certification from Offensive Security and the GIAC Defending Advanced Threats (GDAT) certification from GIAC Certifications. In July 2020, they obtained the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)². In December 2022, they obtained the Certified Red Team Lead certification from Zero-Point Security Ltd, followed by the Certified Red Team Operator certification in May 2022. Andrew is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Cybersecurity from the Georgia Institute of Technology, which they are expected to complete in 2022.
