Kevin Turner

Kevin Turner has held multiple roles in the legal and political fields since 2005. Kevin began their career as a Summer Associate at Burr & Forman LLP in 2005. In 2006, they worked as a Campaign Staffer for Alabamians for Luther Strange. From 2007 to 2011, they were an Associate Attorney at Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP, where they represented clients in connection with mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, venture capital investments, private equity transactions, and business entity formation and capitalization. Kevin also advised clients on governmental affairs issues such as political action committee (PAC) formation and compliance, campaign finance regulations and legislative analysis and strategy. From 2011 to 2017, they served as Chief of Staff for Sen. Luther Strange (R-AL). In 2018, they became Senior Vice President and General Counsel at the Export-Import Bank of the United States. From 2019 to 2021, they were Vice President and General Counsel at the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation, and also served as Senior Advisor for Legal Affairs. Currently, they are a Partner at Holland & Knight LLP and will soon be General Counsel at SIXGEN beginning in 2023.

Kevin Turner completed their education history with a M.B.A. from the University of Alabama's Manderson Graduate School of Business in 2007. Prior to that, they earned a J.D., summa cum laude, from the University of Alabama School of Law in 2007. In 2003, they graduated summa cum laude from Hampden-Sydney College with a B.A. in Political Science and Economics. Kevin began their education journey in 1996 when they attended Mountain Brook High School.
