Fazal Merchant

Fazal Merchant is an experienced executive and board member with a diverse background in leadership and financial management across various industries. Currently, Fazal serves as a Board Member at Warner Bros. Discovery, Ariel Investments, Ryman Hospitality Properties, and Sixth Street, alongside a role as Senior Advisor at Sixth Street since May 2021. Previous positions include Co-Chief Executive Officer, COO, and CFO at Tanium, as well as Chief Financial Officer at DreamWorks Animation and DIRECTV Latin America, contributing to successful sales to Comcast and AT&T, respectively. Fazal holds an MBA in Business and Operations Management from Indiana University Southeast and a degree from The University of Texas at Austin.
