Art Cabot

Art Cabot has over 30 years of experience in the technology field. Art started their career at Westinghouse Savannah River Site, where they worked as a Network Administrator and was responsible for system security and user support. Art also served on the Beta Test Team for Netware 4 and co-presented a national paper on network operating system security. After that, they worked at the Georgia Lottery Corporation as a Data Security Manager. In 1994, they started their own company, Cabot Computer Consultants, where they served as the owner until 2005. During this time, they provided IT consulting services. Since 2005, Cabot has been working at Sizemore, Inc. as the Director of Information Technology. In this role, they have been overseeing IT initiatives and operations, providing mentoring to staff members across the eastern United States, and leading initiatives to improve IT services. Art has also played a crucial role in reducing IT department expenses while increasing the level of services provided. Additionally, they have managed various technology platforms, including Great Plains Dynamics installation and a regional network across 5 states. Cabot has also produced and directed executive video communications and training materials.

Art Cabot received their B.A. in Cinematic Arts from the University of Southern California from 1966 to 1969. Prior to this, they studied Business Administration and Management, General at the University of Hawai’i - Shidler College of Business from 1965 to 1966. In terms of certifications, Art obtained the Certified Information Systems Risk Manager (CISRM) certification from Mile2 in July 2019. Art also holds several Microsoft certifications, including MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional in 2012, MCITP: SharePoint Administrator 2010 in 2012, and MCTS: SharePoint 2010, Application Development and MCTS: SharePoint 2010, Configuration in 2012. Additionally, Art obtained the SonicWALL Certified Security Administrator certification from Dell SonicWALL in 2013.
