Paul Gomar is an experienced Emergency Preparedness Manager at Sizewell C, holding the position since April 2022. Prior to this, Paul Gomar worked at the Environment Agency from January 2006 to April 2022, serving in various roles including Radiation Incident Advisor, Technical Advisor for Exercise & Capability, and Business Planner. Responsibilities included planning, responding to, and recovering from radiation incidents, ensuring readiness standards were met, and overseeing training and exercises for incident management. Paul Gomar holds a degree in Environmental Biology from the University of the West of England and completed an Access to Higher Education program in Science at Plymouth College of Further Education.
