Oscar Sans is a highly experienced medical professional specializing in sleep medicine. Currently serving as the Head of the Pediatric Sleep Unit and Director of the Pediatric Sleep Disorders Unit at Barcelona Children's Hospital Sant Joan de Déu since March 2008, Oscar Sans has also held the position of Medical Director at the Sant Joan de Deu Sleep Unit since September 2017. Additionally, Oscar Sans served as a Medical Director at the AdSalutem Institute for Sleep Medicine until December 2019 and has been involved with the European Sleep Research Society as an expert in sleep medicine since April 2015. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (1993-1999) and a Bachelor of Applied Science in the Sleep Medicine Residency Program from the University of Louisville (2004-2007).
