Edric Ong Khai Jieh

Edric Ong Khai Jieh is an Electrical and Electronics Engineering student at San Jose State University, expected to graduate in May 2025. Currently serving as an Imaging Application Engineering Intern and Device Test & Development Intern at STMicroelectronics, Edric contributes to quantum dot photodiode research and test automation. Additional experience includes research assistant roles at the San José State University Research Foundation and The Department of Physics and Astronomy, where significant contributions were made in ASIC design and materials research. As Project Lead for the IEEE SJSU Student Chapter, Edric has facilitated coding workshops for newer students. Past roles include Hardware Engineer at NeuroLeap Corp, where a USB-C charging board was designed, and leadership positions in competitive swimming and a school club, demonstrating strong organizational and team management skills.
