Debangshu Samanta

Debangshu Samanta, Ph.D., is a highly experienced Senior Scientist specializing in Cancer Biology at SK Life Science Labs since October 2021, where expertise in target identification has led to the proposal of ten new targets for clinical evaluation. Prior to this role, Debangshu worked as a Scientist in Lead Discovery at The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson, focusing on assay development and advanced imaging for drug discovery. At Johns Hopkins Medicine, experience as an Instructor involved the design and execution of innovative experiments to enhance immunotherapy, as well as managing research associates. Debangshu's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Oncology and Cancer Biology from Vanderbilt University, alongside master's degrees in Physics from Florida State University and Jawahar Lal Nehru University, and a bachelor's degree in Physics from Presidency College, India.
