Sangheon Kwon (권상헌)

Sangheon Kwon has a diverse work experience in the field of data science and analytics. Sangheon started their career at SK innovation in 1996 as a Business Data Analyst, where they worked until 2008.

In 2009, they joined SK planet as a Data Analytics Team leader, a position they held until 2017.

Since 2018, Sangheon has been working at SK Networks as a Data Scientist Group Team Leader/PL. In this role, their main responsibilities include establishing a roadmap for implementing digital transformation, improving employee's data utilization abilities, and contributing to the overall strategy and talent development in the company.

Sangheon Kwon began their education journey at Sungkyunkwan University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Economics degree in Economics from 1990 to 1996. Years later, they joined the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, where they pursued a Master of Science degree in Information Technology Management from 2017 to 2019.

In addition to their formal education, Sangheon Kwon also obtained various certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. In 2000, they completed the DBM Academy at Seoul National University's College of Engineering. In 2018, they attended the Seoul National University Big Data Academy. Furthermore, they participated in the UC Irvine The Paul Merage School of Business International Study Program in 2018, the Stanford Creative Leadership: Design Thinking & Storytelling certification from Stanford University in 2018, and the KAIST Deep learning based AI service course in 2019. Most recently, in 2020, they obtained the Advanced Data analytics Professional (ADP) certification from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology.
