Aron Phong

Aron Phong is an accomplished Analytical Scientist II currently employed at SK pharmteco since October 2025, with prior experience as a Senior Research Associate at Alkahest, Inc., where focus was on plasma proteomics from June 2022 to July 2025. Phong has a robust background in proteomics, having worked as a Senior Lab Technician and later as a Mass Spectrometry Lab Assistant at BGI Genomics, where responsibilities included instrument coordination and project management related to TMT, DIA, and DDA techniques. Additional experience includes serving as a Senior Laboratory Analyst at RCU Labs, where calibration and bioanalytical method development were key duties, and several roles at Konocti Analytics focusing on method development and validation across various testing modalities. Phong began an academic journey at the University of California, Merced, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Science with a focus on Immunology and Microbiology, coupled with a minor in Economics, further contributing to a strong foundation in scientific research and analysis.
