Farooq Khalid

Farooq Khalid is the current VP of Products at SKAEL. Prior to this, they held various positions at Dimension Data, Cisco Systems, WindRiver Systems, and Unisys Corporation.

At Dimension Data, Khalid led a team of 14 Global SEs and SE Manager for top global clients with a sales portfolio of nearly $1B. Farooq was responsible for building and executing a transformational business and technical sales strategy inter-weaved with NTT operating companies, DD business units, top 10 OEM partners, global services orchestration, Digital/IoT/Analytics and SDN. Khalid mentored, coached and guided our global SEs to become "leaders of the future," letting them independently drive successful campaigns to enable their clients' business outcomes.

At Cisco Systems, Khalid was a Global Sales Engineer.

At WindRiver Systems, Khalid was a Sales Engineer.

At Unisys Corporation, Khalid was a Sales Manager.

Farooq Khalid has a Master of Science from USC in Computer Networks and Computer Science, as well as a BSc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology in Lahore.
