Regional Director Of Communications And Organizational Development at Skagit Regional Health

Tracey Elfstrom has extensive work experience in communications and organizational development. From 2016 to present, they have been the Regional Director of Communications and Organizational Development at Skagit Regional Health. In this role, they are a member of the leadership team overseeing a healthcare system with two hospitals and 27 medical clinics. Tracey is responsible for leadership development, communications, and employee engagement, including chairing the Employee Engagement Committee.

Prior to this, Tracey worked at Qualstar Credit Union from 2003 to 2016 as the Vice President of Communications and Organizational Development. Tracey was a member of the senior management team and had overall responsibility for corporate culture, including talent management, communications, employee relations, learning and development, and corporate relations. Tracey also had budget responsibilities and managed a team of five direct reports.

Tracey Elfstrom holds a Bachelor's degree in Communications from Linfield University. Tracey also has two Master of Science degrees in Management and Leadership from Western Governors University. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications including Basic Certificate of Quality and Safety from IHI, Just Culture Certification from Outcome Engenuity LLC, SHRM-SCP from SHRM, Certified Fierce Facilitator from Fierce Conversations, and People Skills Certified Facilitator from The Effectiveness Institute.
