Avi Ben Yossef

Avi Ben Yossef is a seasoned professional in artificial intelligence and data science, currently serving as Senior Director of AI at Skai since November 2024. Previously, Avi held key roles including Head of Data Science at Lumen and Director of Data Science at ONE ZERO, where efforts focused on AI-driven financial management solutions and patentable innovations in financial forecasting. With a strong background in AI development, Avi led the AI team at Perion Network and contributed to significant research endeavors at the Israeli Prime Minister's Office and Unit 8200, focusing on information retrieval, NLP, and advanced search technologies. Avi's career began as Founder and CTO of Checkin, developing machine learning algorithms for indoor positioning, and includes experience as a Senior Java Software Engineer in the Israeli Air Force. Avi holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from The Open University of Israel.
