Jeremy Kass

Jeremy Kass has a diverse work experience in various manufacturing and facilities management roles. Jeremy is currently working as the Director of Manufacturing at Skana Aluminum Co. since April 2021. Previously, they worked as a Facilities Manager at Salm Partners, LLC from February 2020 to April 2021. Prior to that, they served as a Project Engineer at Skana Aluminum Co. from September 2019 to January 2020.

From 2015 to 2019, Jeremy worked at Tramontina USA, Inc. where they held multiple positions. Jeremy started as an Engineering Manager in October 2015 and later transitioned to the role of Plant Manager in February 2016. In their role as Plant Manager, they were responsible for efficiently managing production, scheduling, quality standards, and leading a team of direct reports and production employees. Jeremy successfully achieved revenue goals of $4 million in monthly product sales and played a vital role in coordinating with other departments to meet company goals.

Before joining Tramontina USA, Inc., Jeremy worked at Tyco Fire Products from April 2001 to September 2015. During their tenure, they served as a Maintenance Supervisor/Manager, overseeing repair and maintenance staff, managing a large budget, and reducing outsourced contractor spend. Jeremy also worked as an Engineer, where they collaborated with colleagues for new product introductions, implemented drawing revisions, and utilized AutoCAD and Inventor for equipment design and layout.

Jeremy Kass has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management and Operations from Lake Superior State University, which they obtained between 2010 and 2013. Prior to that, they attended Bay de Noc Community College from 1997 to 2000, where they earned an Associate's degree in Engineering. In addition to their formal education, Jeremy has obtained several certifications, including a Confined Space Supervisor Certification from Nicolet College in November 2014, a Six Sigma Black Belt Certification from Tyco in January 2014, and a Wisconsin Public Service Energy Resource Publication from Wisconsin Public Service in September 2012.
