Erik Hedström

Erik Hedström is a Senior Consultant and Associate Professor at Skånes universitetssjukhus since July 2017, currently serving as the Acting Head of Paediatric and Musculoskeletal Radiology. Concurrently, Erik holds the position of Associate Professor at Lund University since October 2015 and has been a Physician and Researcher at the Department of Radiology and Clinical Physiology in both institutions since August 2012. Erik is also a Board Member at Corsmed, a company that provides innovative MRI simulation training. Previous experience includes roles as a Visiting Senior Research Fellow at King's College London and Physician at Örnsköldsvik Hospital. Erik holds an MD and PhD in Medicine from Lund University, completing the PhD with a focus on Clinical Physiology, Cardiac MRI, and Myocardial infarction.
