Zach Parent

Zach Parent is a co-founder of Skatefolio since October 2022, and previously served as Head of the Young Professionals Board at Emergent Works from January to June 2023. With experience as a Software Engineer at Summer from June 2022 to May 2023 and at Google from July 2019 to June 2022, Zach contributed to projects that empower creators on the open web and taught an introductory Computer Science course as a Google in Residence Instructor at Fisk University. Early in their career, Zach held various engineering internships at renowned organizations such as NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory and General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, gaining expertise in systems engineering and software development. Zach holds a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Michigan and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya from September 2024 to December 2025.
