Lance Dawes

Lance Dawes is an experienced professional in photography and studio management, currently serving as the Executive Studio Director at Skechers since March 2014, overseeing the in-house DIG photo studio. Dawes has a diverse background, having worked as a photographer and retoucher for Lance Dawes Photography since 1990, and held various roles at ESPN, including editor for the skateboard page from May 2012 to January 2014. Additional experience includes senior positions such as Studio Manager and Lead Photographer at Skechers U.S.A. and a photographer for the award-winning documentary "Casting By." As co-founder and editor at Slap Magazine, Dawes contributed significantly to the skateboarding media landscape while also managing talent and advertising for Independent Truck Company from 2005 to 2009. Education was pursued at San Francisco State University from 1990 to 1992.
