Kyle Foster

Kyle Foster has a diverse work experience in the mining and construction industry. Kyle is currently serving as the Director of Civil & Special Projects at Skeena Resources Limited since January 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Newcrest Mining, where they held the roles of Principal - Transformation from August 2022 to January 2023, and Superintendent - Underground Mining from September 2020 to August 2022. Kyle also worked as a Senior Mine Engineer at B2Gold Corp. from January 2019 to September 2020 and at Lundin Gold Ecuador from August 2016 to January 2019. Before that, they gained experience as a Mine Engineer at Cameco Corporation from January 2013 to August 2016 and as a Mining Engineer at De Beers Canada Inc from May 2011 to January 2013. Kyle also completed co-op positions as a Mining Engineering Co-op Student at De Beers Canada Inc in 2010 and as a Mining Engineering Co-op Student at De Beers Canada Inc in 2008. Kyle began their career as a Heavy Equipment Operator at Ansell Construction from June 2005 to December 2007.

Kyle Foster holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Mining Engineering from The University of British Columbia. In 2014, they obtained their Professional Engineer certification from Engineers and Geoscientists BC. Furthermore, in 2012, they acquired an Underground Mine Rescue Certificate from the Northwest Territories WSCC. Additionally, they have received additional certifications, including the BC Mines Supervisor Certification from Open School BC and the Occupational First Aid (OFA) Level 1 certification from St John Ambulance, both of which were obtained in February 2023. Lastly, although not provided, it is mentioned that Kyle Foster has also obtained a Mine Rescue Certificate from the Saskatchewan Ministry of Labour.
