Masahiko Murakami

Masahiko Murakami is a seasoned professional in the gaming and immersive technology industry, currently serving as the Representative of the Board of Directors for the Shibuya Asobaba Production Committee since June 2023, dedicated to promoting Shibuya as a hub for indie games. As the CEO of Skeleton Crew Studio since August 2016, Masahiko focuses on VR, AR, MR, game development, and event organization. Additionally, Masahiko holds the position of Executive Board Member for the Japan Independent Game Aggregate, the host of BitSummit, since April 2015. Previous roles include Advisor at BINARY HAZE INTERACTIVE Inc. from June 2020 to November 2023, North America Supervisor at Adglobe Canada between April 2018 and November 2023, and CEO and Artist at VITEI BACKROOM.Inc from January 2016 to March 2017. Masahiko began in the arts as Lead Artist at VITEI.Inc from March 2009 to January 2016. Masahiko earned a BFA in Illustration from the Academy of Art University, completing studies from 2003 to 2008.
